I recently moved to San Francisco and this is my first Thanksgiving in America.
I don’t have any turkey dinners to go to… so I figured, why not do something a little wild?
All the data room companies out there (Intralinks, DocSend, iDeals, etc.) are insanely expensive, and you basically have to beg just to see a demo. That’s been the status quo for as long as this industry existed.
So yesterday I thought: screw it. What if I just made my data room completely free this week?
To hell with DocS...

Hello - I am looking to open up a dataroom and want to avoid Intralinks and Datasite. Any feedback on some of the tier two VDR providers? Who are they, which feature is good / unique, what are they really bad at, how is the service, is pricing transparent, should i go with pages or GB etc. thanks!

I'm a founder.
Besides hating getting ripped off by data room companies like DocSend and Intralinks, I absolutely detest how much time it takes to set them up and find the right docs.
It feels like the perfect place for AI to work its magic but nobody else is doing it.
So here I am, rolling up my sleeves and giving it my own stab.
It turns your data rooms into AI agents that can answer questions 24/7.
If you’re a founder raising capital, an M&A advisor doing deals, or a sales rep setti...

I made this feature comparison doc between my company and intralinks. I don't use intralinks so was hoping someone who had experience with them could confirm some of these features? That would be amazing as i'm struggling to see why mainly legal firms would choose over other document management tools.
Do intralinks have: unlimited external collaborators, unlimited storage, dynamic watermarking, dvanced reporting capabalities, unlimited e-signatures, granuler access permission levels (admin,...

Can someone who works in the Life Sciences pls tell me what you use Veeva or Intralinks for, do you use this thing daily? and more importantly why, even when they’re so expensive?? A company I work for sell a VDR solution and we often come up against veeva or intralinks when selling to LS organisations. Any information would be helpful to be honest (thanks in advance!)

Is there a best practices guide for vetting corporate data room providers? Many companies use the big ones (Dropbox, ShareFile, Box, Intralinks, TitanFile, etc.) to share proprietary data with potential clients/partners. Customer-managed encryption keys seem available only for enterprise users. ToS seem to allow sharing customer data with partners for marketing purposes. Short of hosting your own, what can a small-to-medium size business do / what should they look for?

Saw on another thread that the last two digits of Bofa Intralinks 20200404## correlate with batch number.
Time applied: about 8:30pm
Batch number: 92
Status: documents complete; no approval yet

Do the numbers following CARES have any significance in terms of application order of sequence in the BofA Intralinks?

Hey guys and gals. Does anyone know where there may be a video for help with my banks BOA Intralinks forms. I am applying as a self employed for 20833 and am seeming to have one hell of a time understanding the concept of their uploading software. I get that it is probably meant to be basic but I am not sure if I am uploading my damn documents and submitting. I cannot afford to miss the second round of funding and not a soul at BOA has time to help me.
Also could anyone lend a message my w...

Hey yall. So we got our first email from BOA but haven't received the invitation to upload documents. However, a rep gave us the intralinks address and told us we could log in there once we got the accepted application email. When I try to log in, it gives me security questions I know I'm giving the right answer to and says its wrong. Did you have to make a new account user/pw for intralinks? I've requested to reset the password and get nothing. Just trying to catch up and not sure why rep said ...

I’ve heard that Intralinks is legitimate, but I received the same email from different email addresses about 12 hours apart. One is from newuser1@intralinks.com. The other is from welcome@intralinks.com.
Can anyone who’s completed their application please confirm which email address is correct? I’m worried one of them is a scam, and I don’t know which one it is. The emails are otherwise identical.
Thank you!

For those with BoA and have received the email to upload documents for the PPP loan, was it through Intralinks? With all this going on, I am sure there are some phishing emails out there. I want to think its legit, but something has me concerned at the same time.
EDIT: yes Intralinks is legit. I myself had to click on "set new password" in the email to actually get to the page to sign in.

How comparable is nextcloud to a VDR product (MERRIL, DIGIFY, INTRALINKS, etc)?

Google Drive is usually used vs something more clunky like Sharepoint or Intralinks because of the simple UX and the access controls and audit logs (sharing, views, downloads) it provides. I like Box personally for corp content management, ymmv.

We applied through BoA on the first day as well and never heard a word. All documents are still in Intralinks apparently untouched. Only two things we ever heard from them were the link to upload documents and a call a few days later verifying we were able to upload the documents. Radio silence since then. I did read somewhere though that their system was looking for specific file names in Intralinks and if you did not have those your application fell through the system. After reading that, I we...

I'm a sole prop, and followed almost exactly this timeline, along with resubmitting the same information. Bank of America for me, but they're using an external service to manage the process https://services.intralinks.com/ , it seems strange it can't be managed thru their own online banking. Haven't heard anything, not expecting anything, it's pretty discouraging...

Take a look at Intralinks and Diligent. They are basically Dropbox + embedded Office 365 but with ultra tight security controls. No SSO, no IT/security access, no local storage. Generally only your head of finance, a few people from legal, and board members will have accounts. I know of a major investment firm that has a separate GSuite instance that execs from their investments are given accounts on for sharing data.
